NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, as provided by Government Code Section 54956, that Chairman Gerardi has called a special meeting of the Desert Hot Springs Planning Commission for the purpose stated below:

Pursuant to State law, member of the public who have comments on a specific agenda item, may comment on that item BEFORE consideration of that item by the Planning Commission when recognized to do so by the Planning Commission Chair.  Comments are limited to the first ten (10) speakers at three (3) minutes per speaker.  All comments are to be directed to the Planning Commission and shall be devoid of any personal attacks. Members of the public are expected to maintain a professional, courteous decorum during public comments.

(CONTIUED FROM FEBRUARY 11, 2014) Oasis Plaza Commercial Center (Summa Interstate Development, LLC - Applicant) - Development Permit (DP 04-13), Design Review Permit (DR 04-13) and a Mitigate Negative Declaration (EA 01-13)

Recommendation:

Adopt a Minute Motion approving a Development Permit (DP 04-13), Design Review Permit (DR 04-13) and a Mitigated Negative Declaration (EA 01-13) to construct two (2) commercial buildings totaling 7,992 square feet within the C-G (General Commercial) Zoning District, located on the southeast corner of Third Street and Palm Drive in the City of Desert Hot Springs (Assessor's Parcel Numbers: 639-281-006, 007, 008, 009 & 010).
