Chair Meyer called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM

Public Safety Commission Regular Meeting Minutes February 8, 2018

Action: Lozano moved to approve the February 8, 2018 Regular Meeting Minutes, motion seconded by Mayrhofen, motion carried 5/0 by the following vote:

PUBLIC COMMENTS

Jody Diaz expressed concerns regarding Cabot Yerxa sidewalks.

	Fire Chief, Eddy Moore

Fire Chief Moore provided a presentation on Fire Department services and costs. Chief Moore responded to questions.

ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS:

2.	Public Safety Cadet Liaison Monthly Report
	Public Safety Cadet Liaison Andrea Rodriguez

Public Safety Cadet Liaison was not present. No report was given.

3.	Animal Control Monthly Report
	Animal Care and Control Supervisor, Tara Carper

Animal Control Officer Kenneth Talley introduced himself to the Commission. Tara Carper, Animal Care and Control Supervisor, gave the monthly report and responded to questions.

4.	Fire Department Monthly Report
	Fire Chief, Eddy Moore

Fire Chief Moore gave the monthly report and responded to questions.

5.	Code Enforcement Monthly Report
	Community Preservation Supervisor, Daniel Pitts

Daniel Pitts, Community Preservation Supervisor, gave the monthly report and responded to questions.

6.	Police Department Monthly Report
	Chief of Police, Dale Mondary

Deputy Chief Henson gave the monthly report and responded to questions.

CHAIRMAN, VICE-CHAIR, AND COMMISSIONER REPORTS

The Chair, Vice-Chair, and Commissioners gave their reports. The Commission discussed CERT classes. Commissioner Duarte will report back at the May meeting.
